Can I make the white screen brighter than my monitor's normal brightness?

No — the tool displays pure white at whatever brightness your display is currently set to. For the brightest possible result, turn your monitor or laptop brightness up to maximum before going fullscreen.

Will a white screen fix a stuck or dead pixel?

It won't fix anything, but it helps you spot dead pixels. For a stuck pixel, try our Dead Pixel Test instead — cycling through colours can sometimes help stuck pixels resolve themselves.

Is a pure white screen safe to look at for a long time?

It's no different from viewing any bright white webpage or document, but if you find it uncomfortable, take normal screen breaks — or switch to Night Light for a warmer alternative when working in the evening.
